Getting Started

Quickstart

Read the latest Ethereum block in under a minute, then pull a page of decoded Uniswap V3 swaps.

1. Get an API key

Keys are issued manually while BlockTrellis is in beta. Every request is authenticated with a bearer token.

bash
curl https://api.blocktrellis.com/v1/ethereum/blocks/latest \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BLOCKTRELLIS_KEY"

2. Read the response

Responses are typed straight off the raw layer: field names match the raw_blocks columns exactly. Amount-like fields that can exceed 2^53 (wei-scale numbers) are always strings, never JSON numbers.

json
{
  "chain_id": 1,
  "number": 25996610,
  "hash": "0x325b…4a01b",
  "parent_hash": "0xf78f…94b4b",
  "timestamp": "2026-09-17T10:27:47Z",
  "miner": "0x4838…d5f97",
  "gas_limit": 60000000,
  "gas_used": 25942666,
  "base_fee_per_gas": "175759232"
}

3. Pull decoded swaps

bash
curl "https://api.blocktrellis.com/v1/ethereum/swaps?pool=0x88e6a0c2ddd26feeb64f039a2c41296fcb3f5640&limit=2" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BLOCKTRELLIS_KEY"
BuildingThere is no SQL console yet — the API reads directly from the raw and decoded PostgreSQL layers described on the Data pages.
