Rate Limits

Every key has a fixed-window budget. Requests over the budget get 429 rather than being silently queued or sampled.

Default budget

60 requests per minute per key, reset on the minute boundary. List endpoints count as one request regardless of page size.

HTTP/1.1 429 Too Many Requests

There are no X-RateLimit-* headers yet — a client has to track its own request count, or just back off on 429 and retry.
